Vic Roberts has sent some information about new marriage index entries.
The North Wales BMD website now includes the following new entries in its marriage index:
Civil Marriages
Ffestiniog registration district: 1841-1935 12,369 marriages
Merioneth North registration district: 1935-1950 1,369 marriages
Vic points out that these registers are NOT held at Blaenau Ffestiniog (Ardudwy) register office. “They are now at Dolgellau (De Meironnydd) register office,” he says. “Many thanks to the staff at Blaenau Ffestiniog and Dolgellau, and to all the volunteers who are helping to make this possible.”
