The LDS Family Search’s Record Search pilot site has been upgraded.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints (LDS) has upgraded the Record Search pilot site at its Family Search website. New features include full-screen image viewing and the ability to print a selected area of an image.
The pilot site includes:
- indexed baptism, marriage and burial record images for Cheshire from 1538-1907;
- indexed Cheshire Register of Electors images 1842-1900;
- unindexed Diocese of Durham (Northumberland, County Durham and parts of North Yorkshire and Cumberland) Bishop’s Transcript images 1700-1900;
- indexed transcripts of other English baptisms and marriages 1700-1900.

Is this a pay for site or through the LDS site?
Hi Linda
This is part of the free LDS FamilySearch site, and reached through it.
Best wishes, Alan
Can anyone tell me why following the upgrade some records are no longer available? *I used to be able to access records relating to the Athlone Registration Office in Westmeath Ireland.
Although Westmeath will still provide other office registrations eg Mullingar it does not appear to embrace the one area I mention. Any ideas?
