The Guildhall Library has issued the following information:
The Guildhall Library manuscripts reading room will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from 20 April 2009 for approximately six months
The Library’s distance enquiry service will continue as normal. Access to original and microfilmed records will be through the reading rooms at London Metropolitan Archives (advance notice will be required for original document orders).
