Major online family history companies are reported to be interested in buying ITV’s Friends Reunited and, more importantly, Genes Reunited.
Scottish newspaper The Herald reports that brightsolid (owners of Find My Past and the 1911 census site, and operator of Scotlands People) and The Generations Network (owner of the Ancestry websites) are interested in buying Friends Reunited and Genes Reunited.
