Many church records for the City of Dublin and County Kerry have been made available online free of charge.
Transcripts of the records are now available free of charge on the Irish Genealogy website, which has recently been re-launched and is now hosted by the Irish Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism.
Transcripts of 1,334,000 entries of baptisms, marriages and burials in church registers are now available to search and view free of charge on the website. Of these, 734,000 records are from Dublin City and 600,000 from County Kerry. The records were computerised with funding from the department and through the work of the Dublin Heritage Group and Kerry Genealogical Research Centre. The department is continuing to work with Dublin City Public Library to complete the computerisation of the church records for Dublin City up to 1900.
The department is also collaborating with Carlow County Library and Cork County Library in the completion of their Church records, which will be available to view free of charge on the website in the near future.

Hi my name is Graham Corrigan ,my grandad was John Corrigan(1872) and on a census return it said he was born in Kerry.His father was also called John Corrigan,i cannot find any records of Corrigans being in Kerry in1800s unless anybody knows different i wonder if this was a mistake,thanks for any help ,regards Graham
