I am trying to find my great great grandfather’s forebears.

He was a clergyman who married Anna Reid Rentoul. He was born in c1840. From his death cartificate we believe his father was also William Cameron (b c1800).

I have this last piece of information from Emma Jones’ family tree on Genes reunited.

If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated as when I visited the Clan Cameron region in 2009 for the Clan Cameron reunion, I was not able to gain any further knowledge. My father always told me we were of the Erracht branch of the family, of which he was most proud.
