Gloucestershire Registration Service has now put its civil registration indexes online.
At the Gloucestershire BMD Indexes website, you’ll find local indexes of births, marriages and deaths for the county. The indexes are not yet complete, but when they are, they’ll include places such as Lydney and Coleford that were respectively parts of the Chepstow and Monmouth registration districts in Monmouthshire.
