S&N Genealogy’s website The Genealogist has added several collections of military records.
The Genealogist‘s new collections are:
- British Officers Taken Prisoner in the Great War 1914-1918
Gives the name, rank and unit for around 10,000 officers, along with the date the officer was recorded as missing, the date the they were interned and the date that each officer was repatriated. Records also often list the country in which the officer was recorded as missing. - War Office List 1921
An exhaustive list of War Office staff and departments, and personnel records for 1921, plus historical successions of Secretaries of State for War, Deputy Secretary, Commanders in Chief, Adjutants, Paymasters-General, Board of Ordnance and more from 1414. - History of the Old County Regiment of Lancashire Militia
