Ancestry.co.uk has increased the years covered by the National Probate Calendar of England and Wales.
The National Probate Calendar contains abstracts of wills proved and administrations granted (in cases where a person died without making a will) in the civil probate registries of England and Wales. Ancestry.co.uk has extended its coverage, so that, instead of covering the years 1861-1941, the Calendar now begins in 1858 and extends to 1966.
