Find My Past Ireland’s website has had a makeover and added some records.
Find My Past Ireland says: “This month we were delighted to relaunch findmypast.ie. We’ve been working hard over the last number of months to deliver you an improved site and we hope you like it. So what’s new?
- Improved search functionality;
- Quicker navigation – find who you’re looking for faster;
- An additional 24 million records with the addition of Passenger Lists leaving UK (1890-1960);
- New subscription options, including our Britain and Ireland collection and the World collection.
“We’re also offering a 10% discount across all collections for a limited time.
“We added 24 million records to our Immigration & Travel records this month. Passenger Lists leaving UK 1890-1960 is a vital record collection for anyone whose ancestors left Ireland for pastures new in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
“Most records in this collection contain information on: year of birth, departure and destination port and also any other family members who were recorded on the same voyage. Keep an eye out for the ports of Derry/Londonderry, Cobh/Queenstown and Dublin, in particular, for your Irish ancestors who may have emigrated.”
