Hi, I’m researching a grandparent who attended school in the Liverpool (possibly West Derby) area sometime between 1881-1891. Can you offer any advice on how to access school attendance records – if any – covering that period? Thanks.
Hi Rose
You can search the catalogue of Liverpool Record Office at http://www.liverpool.gov.uk/libraries-and-archives/archives-local-and-family-history. The catalogue includes school records, but the individual records are not available online. However, the Record Office can do some research for you, and you can order this online.
Best wishes
Alan
Thanks!
