One of the largest and most complete Rolls of Honor for the US Civil War has been released. This is the first time that all 27 volumes have been made available online.

The website A Vision of Britain through Time has been relaunched courtesy of funding from the Joint Information Systems Committee, the IT arm of the Higher Education Funding Councils under their Digitise Programme.

An academic at the University of Manchester has suggested that David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party, may be descended from Moses.

The Irish Family History Foundation has added another county to its database of Irish parish register entries and civil registration births, marriages and deaths.

The Forest of Dean transcription project has now been running for just over three and a half years, during which time around 700,000 records have been added to the database.

A new database has been made available online that details those men eligible to vote in Ireland after the electorate had been greatly increased following the Great Reform Act of 1832.
